#WhereInTheWorld // Whistler, BC
Because we so often get asked where we are in the world at any given time, and because with all of our travel, we see so many cool things but so often take them for granted and forget to write about them, I’ve decided to start doing a weekly #WhereInTheWorld where I write a little bit about wherever we happen to be and a couple of the cool things that we’re seeing and doing. And what better place to kick it off than Whistler, BC?
We’re out here for Crankworx, a DH/MTB festival, and it’s been awesome. We’re catching up with old friends and riding bikes, bikes and more bikes—including a DH bike for me (eek!). We also got to go to Top of the World (see the photo above) to shoot the enduro race on Sunday, and I’ve been on some excellent trail runs and rides plus a downhill lesson. Added to that, excellent tacos at La Cantina in Whistler Village and coffee plus ridiculous scones at Purebread (also in the village plus up in the town we’re staying in, Function Junction).
