Over the years, I’ve heard a lot of weird running advice. Some of it was very, very bad (thanks, newbie coach who told 20-year-old me to aim for 1500 calories per day regardless of training). Some of it was amazing (strides, do them.). And some was just plain weird (how to blow a snot rocket) but ultimately, so useful.
