Last week, we were all about Athlete Anxiety with Psychologist Kathy Herzog on The Consummate Athlete Podcast—it’s an episode that I think is super important for every athlete to listen to, and even a great one for parents and partners of athletes to check out. There’s a bit of a vicious cycle that comes with being a high level/serious athlete—you get into sport and exercise to relieve stress, but as you get more into it, it can actually end up causing stress. But exercise is still the prescription for anxiety. Ahh!! Kathy helps walk me through how this happens and what we can do about it.
