If you’re snowed in most of the winter, the treadmill is likely your constant companion. I’m all about getting outside for most things, but at some point, you just can’t take another -30 degree day and need to seek solace (and sauna) at the gym. But so does everyone else, and with obnoxious 30 minute time limits on treadmills at most gyms, it’s hard to know how the F to do your actual workout. Here, I dug into the ways you can use less popular cardio machines/weights to get the benefits of a treadmill workout even when they’re all booked.
