Prep For Downhill Running … in the Gym

Downhill running is honestly harder than uphill running. That’s right, I said it. Not aerobically, but it’s freaking hard on your muscles (and your mind). So, over on MapMyRun, I wanted to look at ways to prepare your body for the pounding of downhill running, especially if you don’t have access to a lot of hills in your area, but are signed up for a hilly race. Your quads will thank you. (And not every exercise I talk about requires a gym and a squat rack, in case you were wondering!)
