I loved talking all things Meditation and Essential Oils for Athletes with Laura Wilson, AKA the Happiness Nerd, on our latest episode of The Consummate Athlete Podcast. Laura has become a good friend of mine in the last couple of years, but even still, I didn’t think she’d be able to convince me to meditate or use essential oils. We recorded this a long while back, in November, and I held out releasing it until I was able to safely say that I was bought in. I’ve meditated every damn day since then, and I have to say, I’m in one of the most stressful work months of my life and hanging on largely thanks to having that established practice—and I do think on race day, I’m going to be a lot better at staying chill on the start line!
