Katie Compton has been one of the most consistent cyclocross racers in the world for the last 15 years, despite pretty constant health problems and issues she’s had to diagnose and deal with. That’s why I was so stoked to sit down with her for Bicycling mag and talk through how her diet has morphed over the last few years and her tips for people who don’t have the best nutrition strategies at the moment. I had interviewed Katie on nutrition when I wrote Fuel Your Ride a few years ago and it was great to hear how her approach has been tweaked, but how it’s still essentially the same whole-food-heavy, balanced diet.
