WTF are running strides? Yeah, that’s basically what I was saying a few months ago, and now I’m obsessed. Who knew that running fast (just for a tiny bit) could have such a big impact on your overall fitness/training/running? Hmm…
As someone who hates interval workouts (not for how hard they are, just because I like to just get in the zone and RUN, not stress on the clock), I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy doing these harder efforts when my coach prescribed them. Now, I’m a convert. They’re actually fun—and not nearly as complex as most cycling intervals are. So, of course I needed to write an article waxing poetic about them and explaining how to do them.
