I’ve talked to Stacy Sims, exercise physiologist, women’s sport and nutrition expert, heat adaptation genius and all-around badass so many times in the past few years and every single time, I come away with so much new information. This episode of The Consummate Athlete Podcast was no exception. We talked about all things heat adaptation as we get into the hot parts of summer (ice = good in your drink, bad on your skin), hormone health for women who won’t give up birth control (including me, I have the Skyla IUD!), diet trends we both hate for athletes, and a new look at the three body types: endomorph, ectomorph and mesomorph… along with a bunch of other topics. It’s a good one!
