Jacques DeVore is a strength coach, a cyclist, and—along with Roy Wallack—the author of the new strength training for cyclists manual, Maximum Overload. The book is awesome, guys. A really easy read, tons of info, and some really great suggestions for how to improve your power without taking another pedal stroke. I’ll also add that even if you’re not a cyclist, you can benefit from his advice: runner, swimmer, any kind of endurance—we all need a little strength training for both power and overall health. And Jacques himself is a fantastic guy and has so much knowledge—he and Peter get seriously nerdy in this episode!
