From Climbing Gym to Outdoor Rock Climbing with Leslie Timms on The Consummate Athlete Podcast
Leslie Timms is a total badass. (We’ve had a lot of rad women on the Consummate Athlete lately, come to think of it!) Leslie is a good friend of ours, and we love her because our lives are kind of parallel, except instead of racing and coaching and writing about bikes, she’s a pro climber and owns a guiding company and writes about climbing. We also have tended to end up in the same places: we all live in Collingwood, Ontario, but spend a lot of time in the winter out west, and last summer, we all ended up in Squamish, her for climbing and us for Ironman. She’s also one of our first podcast guests, so it was fun to have her on again to catch up with everything she’s been doing. (It’s a lot.) She’s also the only guest that we’ve had on twice and recorded in person both times! We talk all things climbing, going from the gym to the actual rock, her new climbing initiative, the Olympics, balancing business with pro life, and so much more.
