As you all know, I am cyclocross obsessed. I raced it, I wrote the book on it, I managed one of the top teams in the world, I’ve coached it, I LOVE it. So naturally, we talked about it on last week’s Consummate Athlete Podcast episode. If you’ve never raced, it’s a great intro. If you’re a longtime racer… I bet you still get a ton of value from it! I actually chatted with a few people at the World Cup in Waterloo who told me they listened to the episode and it gave them some new info to think about. I was really excited to get deep into how to preride a course, what to take note of, what to session, how to look at a lap, all that fun stuff that can be really intimidating or weird when you’re new.
