Can’t Get Outside? Effective Running Alternatives For Stuck-Inside Runners
Whether you’re dealing with a lack of time, crap weather, or a nagging injury, there are ways to get moving that will keep you primed for running without actually pounding the pavement. Over on MapMyRun, I talked about a few of my favorite running alternatives, from more plyometric-based ones if you’re stuck inside, to lower impact ones like stationary bikes (it’s easier and cheaper to get a basic bike trainer than a treadmill, if you already own a bike!). And, because I still really love it, I tossed deep water running in there if you want to really shake things up.
