Becoming a Climber, Bone Density, and Can Cycling Be Eco-Friendly on The Consummate Athlete Podcast

This was a super fun Q&A, largely thanks to some of the amazing questions from those of you who responded to The Outdoor Edit Newsletter (that goes out every Monday with 5 things that I’m reading or into that week!). It was super fun to talk about how we can make cycling — especially racing — more eco-friendly by doing things like opting to race locally (or at least prioritizing it), and things like DIYing ride food. (I also have this article on sustainable/ethical eating over on Outside!) We also get into dealing with bone density as we age… and the all-important question of if an amateur road racer should be trying to ‘become a climber.’

Hope you enjoy! And as always, let us know what you think by leaving us a rating or review on iTunes! Those ratings/reviews really do help us book big guests on the show, and as we’re getting to Year 3 of running the podcast, we’re looking even harder at what the future holds for it, so if you’ve found yourself tuning in over the last couple years, please share the love!
