Cross Country MTB, A Long Career and Two Olympic Cycles with Geoff Kabush on The Consummate Athlete Podcast

It feels like I’ve been interviewing MTBer Geoff Kabush for forever—actually, he was probably the first Canadian athlete I ever met! (Funny thinking about that now that I’m married to a guy who’s been racing him for half his life.) Having him on The Consummate Athlete was a really fun chance to dive into some of the training questions that Peter has had for him over the years, and it was cool looking back at what’s been an extremely long and prosperous career for Geoff in mountain biking and in cyclocross. (True story: he was one of the elite men I interviewed for my first book, Mud, Snow and Cyclocross back in 2012!)

If you want to hear about how he trained before, how he trains now, and how he got Yao Ming to shotgun a beer at the Olympics, you’ll probably want to click on this episode.
