Sports scientist Stephen Seiler might not be someone you’re immediately familiar with, but if you’re in the running or endurance training sphere, you’ve likely been exposed to his ideas. He’s one of the great sports gurus on the ideas of building a proper training plan, avoiding that weird middle-of-the-road effort level, and staying focused on the things that really matter when it comes to up-ing our game. It’s a really fun chat, and I love that he can talk about really data-heavy and complex topics in a way that’s easy to understand but isn’t condescending or dumbed down. If you’re in a training rut, you’ve got to give this a listen!
