Busy week, and tons of running—that’s what happens when a travel schedule means less bike access, and snow makes riding outside pretty tough. If you haven’t been following, you can catch up on where we’ve been on Instagram, Twitter and now, Snapchat (all @mollyjhurford). So, let’s get on with it!
Love this // I’ve really, really happy with my Lululemon leggings and I’m going to bring them up again. The Wunder Under and Align II tights are my favorites for the fact that I can have four pairs of tights packed for a two week trip, and then be able to run, walk and generally hang out in them. They don’t lose shape with hand-washing and air drying like most leggings do, they stay up great for runs, and they’re nice-looking enough (they don’t fade) so wearing them with nicer sweaters makes them into an actual outfit. Travel packing is so much easier!
Try this // Snow running. Have fun with it! We got some snow here in Ontario and Peter and I did a run today that was mostly slipping and sliding up and down hills, and I have to admit that I threw a couple snowballs…
Read this // I’m writing some pieces for Nylon (the ultra cool fashion mag!) and the first one came out today—The Rules Of Running For People Who Hate To Run! So, if you’ve been thinking about getting into running, start there. And then, over at MapMyRun, you might want to read my article on layering for running.
Before You Go // Tomorrow, I’ll be in Toronto giving our “Becoming the Consummate Athlete” talk, introducing the new Trek Canada MTB team squad for 2017, and hosting the official launch of my new edition of “Saddle, Sore: Ride Comfortable, Ride Happy.” You can RSVP on Facebook to any/all of the three events at the Trek Stores in Barry, Aurora and Toronto. We’d love to see you there!
