Not every race goes the way you hope it will… To be honest, what’s the point of racing if it does? Bad days happen to all of us, regardless of how well we prepare. So I was stoked to write this piece for MapMyRun.com about how to use failures in racing to your advantage. I talked with Simon Marshall, co-author of the Athletic Bookworms’ first book club read, The Brave Athlete, about how to have a healthier relationship with our perceived failures, and how to grow from them and move on to better things (and results).
