How to Swim FASTER with Sheila Taormina on The Consummate Athlete Podcast
Swimming has always come pretty naturally to me—I’m not the speediest, but I can stay steady for a looooong time. I’m admittedly nervous about open-water swims (not for drowning concerns, more zombie-related nerves because I’m a weirdo) but the pool is just meditative for me. To get me to do a swim workout of any kind is a struggle, because I just want to swim steady laps and be at home with my thoughts. On the flip side, Peter was new to swimming a year ago, and needed to figure out how to get competent, and then how to get fast. He loved Swim Speed Secrets so much—and it helped him a ton—so he was pretty freaking stoked to get to interview author, Olympian and kickass swimmer Sheila Taormina for this week’s podcast episode. It’s a good one if you’re at all interested in up-ing your swim game!
