I admit,  I wasn’t sure that a podcast about running track would be that interesting to me… and then we got Ian Warner on the phone and it turned into one of the coolest episodes I think we’ve done! The former track Olympian has some great advice on getting into running on the track (seriously, things like injury avoidance and how to kick ass!), but then we got into some lifestyle stuff, plus talking about his new app, KhoLabs, that helps hook athletes and sports medicine professionals (nutritionists, PTs, massage therapists) together to answer questions and set up appointments. As someone who travels a bunch, I love the idea that I can check in wherever I am—SoCal at the moment—and find a good massage therapist for runners, or just ask if anyone has advice for dealing with tight calves from an accidentally all downhill run (you know, hypothetically.). Whether you’re an injured athlete, a wannabe track star, or an entrepreneur trying to lead a healthy lifestyle while staying motivated to crush it in business, this is a must-hear episode!
