Four Types of Food Causing GI Issues on the Run

You know what’s really annoying? When the foods that we think of as healthy come back to bite you—or at least, wreak havoc on your stomach—during a run. If you’re someone who often has to plan runs around where public washrooms are (*raises hand*), you’ll know what I’m talking about. Of if you’re a runner plagued by stomach cramps or aches during or after a run, or if you find yourself feeling sluggish… You might be eating a healthy diet, but timing the food in a way that messes with your ability to digest and then get out and crush. So, over on MapMyRun, I broke down a few of the common healthy (and a couple unhealthy) foods that might be making your run a bit less pleasant—and some might be pretty surprising!
