On this week’s Q&A episode of The Consummate Athlete Podcast, Peter and I dove into endurance and why you still need it when racing short, intense efforts; Stacy Sims joins us with her best tip from ROAR (our January Athletic Bookworm pick!) for female athletes out there, and we discuss how to practice MTB skills in the winter (not just using a fat bike!) and some healthy swaps for when you know you should eat salad, but you’re just not into it. This was a super fun episode because as a former salad-hater, diving into some of the tactics I used to reframe how I felt about veggies was a blast—and next Friday, I’ll have a new video post about how to make the perfect Big Salad, so stay tuned for that!
