​9 Ways to Get Yourself to the Gym When You Really, Really Don’t Feel Like It

I loved writing about ways to “trick yourself, treat yourself, and force yourself to get to the gym” because, frankly, the weather currently is COLD AF, and that means it’s really tempting to put resolutions about getting fit on hold and stay huddled inside. I definitely am not riding in 6 degree weather. In fact, it’s actually been too cold to even ski up in Ontario! But I have been getting a lot more strength training in over the last week and a half, and while I never love getting there and getting started, I really, really love the results and how I feel when I’ve been lifting consistently. And it does insane things for my power on the bike! So… if you need some motivation and ideas to kick you out of the house and into the gym, I got you.
